Well I am a newbie to this site and would like to thank all of you in advance for what will be an experience. Because I will be throwing some ideas at ya here soon. My truck is actually my girlfriends that I took over. She wanted my car so we traded, she liked my car better anyway. The truk is a 93 regular cab ranger 4x4, 3.0 V-6, manual trans. It has a body lift and leveling lift.
Right now I am in a spot to do some serious work to the ranger. A friend of mine that lives 3 hours from me has given me an idea and I am seriously thinking of doing it. Since he has done the swap many of times. He has given me a complete rolling chassis from a 78 F-150. Needs a motor though, but thats not my dilemma. He wants us to put the body onto the chassis after we shorten up the F-150 chassis. Instead of doing all the work to the ranger chassis. this way I will have the staright axles and full size running gear.
What do you all think?
