So I've had issues with the nozzles either not spraying or spraying incorrectly since I bought the truck. Things I have done:
1. Replaced the washer motor (I do not believe this was necessary)
2. Replaced the T coupler that connects the 3 hoses together because it was broken/leaking
3. Replaced both nozzles. No matter where you go to look for parts they only list the driver side nozzle which is Dorman 58166. So I did a google search on a whim and searched by changing the last number, being 58165 and lo and behold it was the passenger side nozzle. I was able to find it at Walmart. It says it does not fit 2000 Ford Ranger but it's definitely the correct part. Here is a link to the part if anyone needs a new passenger side nozzle: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Dorman-5...le-for-Specific-Ford-Mercury-Models/514919038
4.Cleaned out hose running from pump to passenger nozzle, passenger side nozzle works beautifully.
5. Hose running to driver side is a bigger hose than the rest of the hosing system. Coupler inside big hose was broken that connects to smaller hose from T that connects everything together and I was actually able to find and coupler that was different sizes on each end to make the hoses connect together. I forget the sizes, all the hoses are 3/16" I think and the big hose is 1/4". I also replaced the bigger hose that connects to driver side nozzle.
6. I have replaced the driver side nozzle about 3 times and even after all of the work I've done the driver side nozzle just barely oozes out into what I would call the cowl vent holes. If I remove the driver side nozzle fluid seems to be flowing well, but with a nozzle connected it just dribbles out.
I basically have eliminated all possible other issues, but find it hard to believe that so many nozzles could be the actual problem. There has to be something I'm missing. If anyone has any guidance that would be awesome.
