It TOOK ME FIVE DAYS, TO PUT MY 1986 2.9L V6 4x4 XL BACK
TOGETHER. WHEN I WAS DONE SHE FIRED RIGHT UP. NO MATTER
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY RANGER IT NEVER EVER LETS ME DOWN

Sounds like you had better luck that I usually do.

I almost always miss that one odd ground wire that makes it not start or run funny or melt plugs on the exhaust.

Dude, I just did that when I put the new engine in my BII. It was driving me nuts because originally it would run like crap until it warmed up. Afterwards it ran like crap after it warmed up.

I missed the O2 ground.
 
Lord...I really need to stop looking for excitement when I know I'm going to find...excitement~

I've been fairly fortunate with putting my motor back together...since I learned a few tricks thanks to TRS...
