I usually wait about 30 seconds, or so. Make sure the oil is flowing, and go. Never had any problems.

Same here, 30 seconds, maybe a minute. Just long enough to make sure the blood is flowing, then off I go.

Unless she's iced over.....then I let 'er run a while.

Never really thought about it, but here goes.

Start it, bump the clutch enough to get it rolling back, shift to 1st, idle, make my S outta the driveway, bump the clutch again in 1st to stop the rear progression, cut the wheel right rolling slowly forward, let the clutch out at idle in 2nd as I buckle and drive. Couldn't possibly be more than 15-20 seconds.

If I'm parked in the back by my garage, Start it, bump the clutch enough to get it rolling back, shift to 1st, idle in 1st for about 150 ft of soggy grass, turn left and drive.

the only time i wait for a vehicle to warm up is for the windows to clear off. and that can sometimes take some time.

I hit the button on my remote start about 5 to 10 minutes before I leave the house, hot or cold, but if the out side temperature doesn't warrant the heater or ac I don't use my remote start.

I only do it if its really cold out. My trans doesn't shift too good when it's below 10 degrees or so.

i dont ever warm it up unless its really cold out. and even then i just turn it on for a few minutes and get in and go

I know a guy who used to warm up his turbocharged Eclipse convertible on cold nights by bouncing it off of the rev limiter until heat poured out of the vents. Trust me they heat up fast when you do that! He usually had a spare motor laying around though and didn't care if he had to do a swap because he'd have to rebuild or replace the trans in the thing two or three times a year anyway. All in fun I guess.

I start it up and get out of the driveway as fast as I can... If it's really cold outside I'll warm it up driving, but I usually have heat by the end of my road (1 mile maybe)... Although I can't use second if it's below 30-40 degrees or so...

damn i'm glad i don't have that problem ..all i do is unplug mine in the winter and fire it up and go . i have instant heat and have never had to warm anything up on my duramax..

where i live it gets pretty cold at nights since i get off work at around 10 i take awhile warming up but in the mornings its not too cold and i usually wait about a minute

start it up, scrape any ice of the windows, if none then i just go after a couple of seconds

The only warming up I do in my truck is the time between ignition and shifting into drive, or however long it takes me to scrape my windows in the winter.

the only time I warm my truck up is when I'm skiing. I get back to the truck start it. and then I strip down so it is all nice and warm in the truck and drive back down to PHX. and that is it. other than that I just start and drive off.
