Hey everyone. here's a little bit bout my danger-ranger

1999 Ford Ranger XLT Stepside 3.0 v6 5spd (only mod is CAI)

Wanting to know how hard or easy it would be to take it from a fuel injection to a Carb? not wanting to do performance or nothing. just i like carb better.

hmm not sure why since fuel injection is more efficiant than a carb but i cant blame u for wanting to change it, simple carb instead of electrical bs that tends to f up lol..

but u will need a intake, carb. fuel pressure regulator (manual) bc the FI has way too much fuel pressure for the carb system.. some FI systems run constant 14-15 pds fuel pressure, some carbs setups run like 5-8 pds fuel pressure..

throttle cable and lincage ummmm i think thats bout it but i may have left few things out but thats all i can think of right now

The Vulcan was never build with a carb intake/carb setup, so an intake manifold would have to be custom built.

I've never understood the idea behind swapping an EFI setup for carb. Granted the carb with make slightly more peak power, but EFI is far superior in every other area. Better cold start driveability, better fuel economy, better mid range torque, and better emissions.

Next thing he will be trading his ride for a MULE! DUDE! You've got the best there ever has been.. Leave it alone. Carbs ain't better in any way. Cept maybe if you've got too much fuel and want to use it up.
