If i can do it from junkyard parts. that would be great.
I have a 1994 ford ranger with 4.0L, 4wd, and manual 5spd. standard cab long bed with stock 31x10.50 tires (replacements for the P265/75R15 generals).
I have the rancho rs5000 shocks for up to 2.5 inches of lift.

what are my options? I would also like to fab a pipe bumper like the one in the picture at some point so added weight is a factor.
ideas?:

f150 coils?
'coil spacers' are illegal in MI, but if that's the best way, I'll risk a fix-it ticket.
I'm at a loss, lol.. I don't want to have to change the camber, toe in, etc... will I have to do this with the level in the front?
thanks!

I think there was a misunderstanding. I cannot use hockey puck style coil spacers- but I might just to that. I was thinking of possibly using f150 coils, but not sure about the spring rate/etc and what year/model to get them off of.
I will probable go with the spacer or buy a leveling kit unless something else comes up

Just get the f150 spacers, f150 coils will be too stiff.

I will be replacing the shocks this weekend- weather permitting and I figure that if I can get the rusty bolts loose I will level the front. My understanding is that the f150 spacers will change the alignment, right? I will be looking for prices and looking for more info. thanks

Yes, anything you do to the front suspension will affect the alignment.

Heres a quick tech article I did when putting in spacers, and yes, they actually are hockey pucks! lol

I would go for the F-150 spacers or even washers. How will some uniform PO know that's not a factory spacer??
