i want speakers and amp and subs that will fit in my 91'extra cab. the cheapo kickers in the back arnt dooing it or me and the highs suck so im ready to upgrade, im not looking or bose but im also not lookin or explods a middlegrade stero that sounds great all around i like to hear lots of base. so you think you got something comment. i dont need to get everything at once.
thanks

2, 61/2in and 2, 6x8's
and im looking for subs

I'm curious to know what you went with. I'm in the same boat. I have a set of Boston Pro 60's that look like they'll fit in the front doors but I'll need a spacer so they clear the window when it's rolled down.

honestly, if your looking at some cheaps subs and mids that are decent. look into the memphis pr series. they are the beginning line in memphis. very reasonable in price and sound good. then you could look into the phoneix(sp?) gold line up. it starts with the R1s and they are good for the money to. ive been into car audio for a while now. used to have 2 memphis mojo 10s in my single cab silverado. built a custom center console box for it and everything. put so much glass work into the dang thing

i would recommend a single ten or twelve in a ported box tuned to a frequency of your liking. i have 2 almani s7's in a ported pox with 1000 watts rms pushing them and i rattled the headliner off, broke off the rear view mirror, and shattered the rear center window. the enclosure is the heart of a system and with shitty subs you can make them sound really good with a good enclosure. i build custom boxes to custom fit in any car and i know what works best with ex cab rangers.

ill post pics later but i got 2 10in audiobhans, and infinity speakersin the back and jensens up front. but they hit the glass so i guess ill have to make a spacer
