Want to to lift but......

Hey so I want to lift my truck, and Ive been looking into kits, but most are saying I need other parts not included. What exactly do I need for a lift? As in pitman arms and things like that. I've never lifted a truck before so I am clueless.
I want to do a 4" suspension and 2" body.

Extended brake lines for the front, drop pitman arm, shocks.... Thats about it really. Tools, lots of them.
