Dont forget about the same stuff too, Mexico Insurance, Cell Phone Plan ( my bill from the B1K was $500 alone), SAT Phone for you when brake down or get stuck, IRC tracker fee(everything leaving the starting has one), fuel for the race car and chase trucks, for pit support you can use BFG if you run their tires or BAJA Pits, Food for your crew, hotel rooms, Passports, toll rode fee's. The B1K is the hardest desert race out there, i was up for 36 hours straight chasing for our 2 Trophy Trucks. Plus once you get to La Paz you still have to drive home and it took us 2 full days to get to SD. I dont think any one has talked about race radios either, You need at least one for the race car and every chase truck. They will cost you about $300 a pop, and you have get channel ex: 151.xxx. Your gonna need co-dawgs and drivers too, not to be negative but youre not gonna solo it in a ranger, it took us 22 hours in trophy trucks with fast drivers. One last thing before I forget your gonna need to miss about month of work becuase you will have to pre-run(that means you'll need a pre-runner), they you have tech the truck on wensday, race and then drive home.
