Want to pull codes,what V setting?

I read in the archives/library that the analog volt meter be set to 0-15 Volts.
The meter I just got has settings starting at 2.5 then 10 then 50. If this isn't gonna work I dont want to open it and I'll take it back. Thanks

I would set it on 10. You just need to be able to see a clear sweep of the needle.
