I recently bought a 97 ford ranger. I want to lift it about 4-6 inchs. unfortunately i am knew to mechanics and have no idea where to start.
I was hoping someone would give me a diy tutorial also what are the best brands to use. Also how much would i be looking at including tires and rims?

thank you.

an easy way to get 3" of lift is a body lift. theres a how to do it on the tech library.
u can add a 2" block to the rear susp and some coils pacers up front. u can find good how to's about that in the tech library.
the costs depends on your location and stuff like that.
and depends what u buy, for example a nice set of used rims and tires can save u some cash compared to new rims and new tires.
