Well, as I posted a couple weeks ago, I bought a set of Belltech 6400 shackles in an attempt to lift my explorer. Got around to it yesterday...all excited...to only be slapped in the face when I got under the truck.
As it turns out, the Explorer doesn't have a pin sticking out of the frame for the shackle to bolt to like the ranger/chevy frames do. It basically slides in on either side of the frame and the bolt goes THROUGH the entire assembly.
Since the 6400 shackle is closed in on one end with a rubber bushing through it, it is instantly labeled as USELESS on the Explorer. Not impressed with this.
