Topher, you're a rare bred, a conservative in the lefty paradise of Delaware. Plus you have a great model year/drivetrain in yo' Ranga'...

As for Palin, let's just hope she stays doing the political pundit thing and some better person emerges to take on Obama.....I'd suggest Chris Christe from NJ or my homeboy, Rep. Paul Ryan from WI. But we have a good year or so, plenty of time for someone electable to emerge.

Oh, and don't we all wish the democrats of today were still the Real Democrats of the 1950s.... My grandfather, rest his soul, was one of those guys, a union foundry worker, he'd never even recognize his party today.

 Props on the ranger

Lefty paradise is an understatement. There's a reason Rehoboth beach is nick named "Re-homo"

Very true. I grit my teeth every time I hear the notion that Palin might be the Republican candidate the next time around wagon. She scares me.

I'm hoping for someone like Ron Paul, but I can wish in one hand and... hows it go?

I voted for a monkey, a dumbass, a hag, and a pig.

Looks like Barnes ain't getting voted this time...lol.

I'd vote for Ron. I see where his son Rand won the race he was in. The favorite for Republican candidate for President here is Mitt Romney, but I think he might get slaughtered on the topic of health care (see Massachusetts health care) ......but then again the guy he'd be running against has a shitty record on that subject too. Mitt really saved the Olympics from a butt load of turmoil. It was an awesome experience to have the Olympics in my hometown, and he is very much appreciated for that here.

I'm usually a "vote for the guy, not the party" voter, but I'll be honest.....I'm voting Republican no matter who's on the ballot for President in 2012.

saw this on hotair, kinda sums up the day for a lot us fiscal conservative types.....

and btw, my big news for the evening:

18 year WI Senator Russ Feingold ----------> SLAYED

the liberal beast is DEAD at last!

Nice......now Harry Reid needs ousted (although his opponent is a dunce too)

I think Ron is painfully realistic and few people want to know whats really going on. I voted for all republicans this election without even realizing it until I marked them all in. I just tried to vote the long-timers out and get the new/newer people in.

I might vote for the republican presidential candidate next election, but its too soon for me to know. I'm a big believer in voting for who I think is best and not voting out of fear that "the other guy" might get in. I think thats how voting is supposed to work.

Me too (thus my vote for the man, not the party), but I'm in the position now where I've seen enough "Change". I feel I need to be realistic and vote for the person that has a better chance in that particular race.

And also this Republicans take over state Senate, Assembly , Oh ya, the governorship also! I think it's been since the mid 30's since one party controlled both the house and senate (state)
Dave of the Nord
