well....I tried the diagnostics out...I ended up buying an imaginary fuel injector for #3 cylinder & the truck runs great now.....

I plugged it into a hookers butt and it now says she has a free flowing outlet...lol

I looked through. It seems like it would be helpful to people in a certain skill range.

Obviously it would not be super helpful for people at my level since we would already know all of that stuff. It may also get newbies in way over their heads quickly.

My biggest concern is that it did seem to be limited in the years it will work for. I'm thinking that it may not have lots of helpful info back before OBDII.

Pretty soon we'll have vehicles that talk. The car/truck will tell you 'Hello' and add that you'll need to put air in the tyres & rotate them, needs a quart of oil, shocks are worn out and needs replacing, taillight bulb is burned out, the MAF needs cleaning, etc.....The operator will just respond with "shut up car !!"-

LOL...I used to tell mine to shut up when the door chimes went off...

Anyway, I watched a few of the Wells videos that explained how things worked and found those very helpful...so I'd imagine this might help people at my level of experience...

We have most of that already.

My mom's 2001 Volvo would put "hello" up in the message center when started.

TPMS lights tell you the tires are low.

Oil minders tell you when to change the oil and most car makers tell you to rotate the tires when you change the oil.

The Mercedes E-class has no engine oil distick. When you change the oil you start it and the instrument cluster tells you if you have enough in.

Many vehicles have had bulb out warnings, going back as far as the 80's. I have everything I need but the time to install the factory system on my 88 BII.

And I tell cars to shut up all the time.
