Vinyl Pinstripe

I have a vinyl pinstripe on the side of my ranger and i would like to take it off. I have heard of people doing it but i wanted to know if u could tell it the pinstripe was there before?

Scrape it across some rocks on a trail. Worked for my buddies Dodge!

heat it up with a hair dryer and it will come right off by using a plastic butter knife. as for leaving the truck with a color change it's hard to say .depends on the paint and how much sun the truck has seen . paint fade,etc

My 1993 with paint code EG has a very noticeable color difference. You can tell in how the area where the door is has sort of a sparkle to it along with a deeper, more vibrant red. The outsides just.. blah..

remove the pinstripping via a hairblow dryer like mentioned, then go to your local parts store and get a semi-abrasive cutting cream to bring the shine back to what it used to be like - doing this, followed by a wax, will (in most cases) bring back the colour you love. if you REALLY want to get 'er looking good, wet sand it. BUT READ UP ON THAT FIRST lol

take the pin stripe off an get auto magic car waax an wax your truck an you will never even notice that you had a pin stripe. my dad sells all the auto magic car stuff an it woulds really well we took a pin stripe off my boat an waxed it with auto magic an you cant even see where it was.
