I wish I still had the phone number, but I called Ford and asked for a "History 999" report. I did this for the 1987 Mustang and the 1995 Ranger vehicles I onced owned.

Bein a 97, it's doubtful, as FORD only goes back bout 10yrs......lately we've been havin problems bring up info on 98 & 99 model vehicles since the turn of the new year.
