Very rough idle and acceleration

Truck starts but will die on idle unless I give it gas. Replaced MAF sensor but just seemed to have made it worse. It will run better with the MAF sensor unplugged. Once warm it runs better, but acceleration feels strange, almost like surging. There's a check engine light but it only comes on a bit after truck is started, I tried to read the computer but the only code is gave me was 111 (no active codes).

either that or a vac leak - might try to easier one first, then the 2nd one if you don't get it right away.

I cleaned the IAC valve but really didn't seem to do much. Unplugged it and started and seemed to run slightly better but not by much.
