hey guys i had my a4ld trans rebuilt in march when i put my body lift on i noticed the vent tube on top of the trans did not have any hose conneced to it should there be a hose on it or r they just left with nothing hooked to it .

This isn't the vacuum right? The one that comes down off the T on the fuel pressure regulator?

no its not the vacum it the vent on top of the trans my question was is there suposed to be a hose attached to it or is it just left with nothing on it is ther anyone who can look under thier truck and see if there is a hose hooked up to it or not mine dose not but the shop that did my trans just slapped it back in so i dont know thanks for the help.

they came factory with a loop setup, if you plan to take it in water or mud, get some tubing and run it up by your brake booster and put 2 loops in it and zip tie it in place. its the best thing you could do.

you should also run a longer line for your front diff, t-case and rearend.

thanks viper thats all i needed to know because when the trans was done the fools that did the rebuild just slapped back in they just did a sloppy job so now i know again thanks .
