I have a 88 Ranger and I'm placing new wolrd heads on it. Do I have to get the 89-90 covers or will the 88 valve covers with Fel-pro gaskets seal it?

Thanks!

i recently put the world heads on my 87 2.9l used felpro perma seals and 87 valve covers.no leaks so far

thats sweet man hows it running! also where did u find them heads?after i find out whats wrong with mine i wanna do a rebuild on my 2.9 its got enough power for me. o yea what kind of exhaust u got u should let them heads breathe with a set of headers.:headbang:

honestly i havent seen any real performance gains from them, the ports look the same as the stock ones.i think its just a beefier casting to prevent the heads from cracking.one of my heads was cracked so i decided to get the world heads cause they where only $90 a head on clearence, so i just had to swap the valves springs retainers and everything off my old heads.you can get them through bill mitchell racing in new york or just call world products and they'll hook you up.still got stock exhaust but i gotta replace it soon so i might go with headers
