valve cover question

out of curiosity are the 2.9 valve covers interchangeable as in could I put the oil fill valve cover on drivers side instead of passengers side

I suppose you could, of course you would have to reroute everything.

Im not sure if its possible or not. You would have to check the mounting surfaces - see if they are semetrical front-to-back. They will probably line up okay on the inside edge (next to the intake manifold) but the curves might be slightly different on the outside edges (the ones that are not straight)

You can also go to the parts store ask for the valve cover gaskets and check if it would work.

it looks like the valve cover gaskets are interchangeable so the valve covers are as well.

If you are doing valve cover gaskets just lay them on backwards and see if the bolt holes line up.
