No, not the O2 sensor but that extra thingy that you don't have on your truck...the one that comes off the EGR pipe...

The O2 sensor is required if your engine has one already...otherwise you would get a CEL error and the engine may or may not work properly...those CELs are annoying even though they don't usually stop the engine from running...I had one on my Zuki for about 5 months before I fixed the speedometer cable...

you can get a bung to weld onto the exhaust somewhere, I'd put it either on the header near where the stock one went, or on the exhaust pipe a few inches after the flange.

Well i tried to braze (for my first time) a bung onto the down pipe today, and failed miserably. gotta bring it to a mufler shop.

well i finally got around to checking mine out. the o2 sensor is about 2 inches from the where the egr tube connects to the exhaust manifold. this is in a 2000 w/ the 2.5. hope that helps

Nice Info! but came too late. I drilled and welded a 02 bung on the exhaust already. Thank you though!
