I have an annoying oil leak that appears to be coming from the valve covers. I bought new gaskets and autozone guy said to use permatex black as well. Any thoughts on whether to use permatex on both sides of the gasket or just one? Are the bolts on the valves covers a royal pain in the ding ding to get to?

they are easy to get to and job is easy to do i wouldnt use any rtv though didnt on mine when i resealed them and they are fine i would suggest the rubber gaskets from felpro if thats not what you already got

cork still no rtv, and be careful when tightening them down cork will crush easily
