Does anyone know where to get a vacuum diagram for a 98' 4.0 Ranger XLT?? I need it for the engine and the a/c, under the dash...And how do you get to the blend door? I have no vacuum under the dash. There is a white vacuum line with an elbow on it under the hood by the windsheild wiper fluid that doesn't go to anything I can see. It has vacuum on it, but it's not hooked up to anything. And I don't think they made martian balls for 98' 4.0 rangers.
Thanks in advance!

Empty the glove box, squeeze in at the top, and drop it down. Your vac stuff should be back there, but the Rangers use more electronics than vacuum in the HVAC system.

Can you post a pic of the line? Someone should recognize it and tell you where it should go...but you might want to plug it if you haven't already done so...they can cause your engine to run funny...and not even start in some cases...those diagrams are pretty useless when it comes to actually figuring where everything goes...I learned that the hard way when I tried diagnosing my 2.0...even the Ford tech gave up on it...lol

That's the picture under the hood by the windshield wiper fluid. All you can see is the elbow, but there is a black and White vacuum line running through the firewall all the way to where the picture was taken. I realise that the blend door is probably electronic and the plastic piece is probably broken, but the vacuum is a big concern because hot or cold, it stays on defrost all the time, the air doesn't blow anywhere else
