Have a simple question?

Which is better?

98-00' Vacuum hubs (could be replaced with AVM hubs)

or

Live axle setup. On the live axle setup, does it turn all the time?

Thanks

Personally I like the live axle set up. Much stronger and the gas mileage difference between the live axle and the PHV is negligible.

With the live axle the front shafts, differential and front drive shaft all spin. Just the transfer case is engaged for 4x4.

I was pretty sure that was how the live setup worked.

Hmmm....I think I'd be ok with either setup then.

Thanks.

Oh, and isn't there a way to swap a live axle setup to rid the 98-00 Rangers of the vacuum stuff?
