There is a plastic canister under air filter housing (has something to do with vacuum). One vacuum line from the canister goes to the throttle body, another goes to some type of sensors mounted on right side under the hood. Vacuum lines are color red.

Questions: does anyone knows what those sensors are, and what is the purpose of this canister.

your not talking about the shutter on the side flap that opens the air door to the airbox and exhaust are you? or are you talking about the lines that go to the top of the airbox lid then go to the sensor thing on the sidewall then runs the vacuum to the egr on the throttlebody?

I don’t have an air box, and yes red vacuum line goes from throttle body to the plastic box and then to two sensors on the left side.

P.S. I have pictures of it, just can’t figure out how to post them….

just save the pics to my documents or something then sign up for imageshack.com or photobucket.com and click upload pics then find that picture then it will upload and u can copy and paste like 4 different codes, i belive u use the IMG code for forums.

you put (bracket)img(bracket) link (bracket)img/(bracket) to upload a photo, if your using mozilla firefox and you can upload photos to your myspace account (if you have one) simply upload the photos, click right on the photo once its loaded into the album, right click on the photo and click "copy image location." then come here put
and voila. you can do the same thing w/ internet explorer but dif i cant remember how to do it.
