Vacum Gauge... need info/help

well i was talking to some guys at autozone and was thinking about putting a rpm gauge... they all leaned me into just getting a vacum gauge instead cause itll better help me on my wanting to get better mpg. btw, i know when to shift and all that. cause i just listen to engine and the "Feeling" of the truck. but yes, any-o for this vacum gauge i need a vacum line to run it too.. which line could i run this too? just need some info/pics would be nice. thanks

Well what I did with mine is just ran it to the vacuum line thats right by the brake booster. I forget what exactly it runs to. But basicaly just cut the line in half then put a T-fitting in and then spliced it all together. Hope that helps. They're real easy to install.

you can tee off any vacuum line that comes off the intake manifold

im somewhat clueless on that. so could i just run my vacuum gauge from the brake booster im assuming? would that work as well?

There's a line that's right by the brake booster. Vacuum lines are black and pretty small. Still raining too much to get you a picture.

This is my first time posting a picture so hopefully it works out. The line is basicaly right by the power steering reservior and the oil dip stick. The line is white. and then also yellow.
