i have an 88 ranger with the 2.9 now is the vac hose what connects to the lower ram air tube? does it suck air out of the hose and why? and what will happen if i take the hose off because i want to put a high flow filter and i want as much air as possible i know its alot but please answer all of the questions:icon_confused:

Leave all your vacuum hoses where they are, otherwise it'll run like crap (simple answer)... Your stock air filter flows more than enough air... A high flow filter does nothing...
