v8 with t56

I just bought a t56 to go with the 5.0 that i am putting in my 95 ranger extended cab just wondering if there is anyone out there that has done the same install in the past

Welcome to a first poster! Sure don't remember anyone here doing it. Not sure I'd take it over a T-5 unless I had 450+hp and was able to use 6th gear. They are larger top to bottom and might need the tunnel massaged a bit. Take the 164 tooth bellhousing I believe.

"tominator" on RPS has a 6 speed tremec in his truck, but detail on his supercharged 5.0 are few and far between. The search over there is buggered up, and not a whole lot of help.

I can't think of anyone else with a six speed.
But Fox body Mustangs are ripe with them.
What questions did you have?

im putting a cable operated t5 and 351w out of a 95 mustang at the salvage has anyone here done the clutch cable to ranger clutch pedal

It's been done, but those who have done it claim the hydraulic is much easier and works better. I can't point you to a specific thread off the top of my head, but some digging will find a bit of info.

cool thanks for the help I dont really know what to expect with it yet just wondering if anyone has helpful tips I dont think it will be all that hard I will definitely figure it out when I get back from afghanistan appreciate the links.

Be sure to take pics and do a write up on your swap it may help others me included sence a T56 will be my next trans.
