Anyone ever use the plate style motor mounts in 2wd,and a f150 oil pan. just looking for ideas for my 94.

i used fox mustang mounts and pan had to make an adaptor plate for it but it wasnt too bad im glad your putting a ford in a ford in my opion the only way to go

The F150 pan doesn't clear the crossmember. Doesn't matter what mounts you use. You can't set the engine back far enough for the sump to clear the X-member

I used plates in my 94 but with a Fox Mustang oil pan. They are super cheap. I think a new one from Summit is less than $50.

If i new how to post pics i can show u it fits, the ranger is a 2wd on 4.0l mounts and 1/4 plates, the 94 oil pan is a rear sump
