Alright, so i have been scanning through the articles for a wile now and gave the F up. I am looking at going for an expo 302 with fuel injection. I want to run a manual and a manual T-Case. I am going to spend the 650 for the kit to get the motor in the rig, but the wiring, tranny, and transfer case are where i am lost.

As in you're lost in finding a donor vehicle with a manual trans and transfer case that will bolt up to an explorer 302?

I have never even seen an explorer with a V8 and a 5speed with manual t-case. I am wondering what transmission and transfer case will easily fit in a ranger and will bolt up to an expo 302

Explorer never came with the V-8 manual trans or manual transfer case, look for them out of a F-150, only option. For the wiring, most have used the common Mustang wiring harness/computer. Not sure what that kit you mention includes. If you get one of the later Explorer motors, '97 1/2", likely it with have the GT-40P heads that need a special header to fit (if you're looking for a performance one).

Here is the link to the kit

You really don't "need" a kit.

If you get your motor from a fox-body Mustang, or many other 80's-90's ford cars, the motor mounts will work, as will the dual sump oil pan, and the cast iron exhaust headers.
You will need a remote mount oil filter (with 90 deg sender). Your 4.0 rad will work fine, depending on how much you build the motor.

The kit seems over priced.
