V-6 Aspire,Good Idea?

I read that 84 to 87 Astro's came with the old non comp HEI and a carb.

That is true. The Vortec did not come from GM with a carb, that I know of. The intake bolts are different between the Vortec and the old school 4.3 engines. This intake is a marine intake I got through Michigan Motorz.

Wouldn't that be more like a 4WD pulling a trailer?

If your trike is like a guy on a unicycle pulling a two wheel cart... sure. :icon_twisted:

With the horse behind the cart, things get goofy. Like a RWD it naturally wants to trade ends.

Except there is a flaw in your concept. No wheels are being powered with a horse pulling a wagon. Your feet are powering the front wheel on a trike.

What I read said it came with a Quadrajet from 84 to 87 (Astro) My net is super slow right now so I'm not gonna find it again lol

It is the same difference, on a FWD the front wheels pull the car. On a RWD the rear wheels push the car. It doesn't really matter what tires have power, the force is still either applied to the front or rear of the vehicle.
