Hey just bought a set of Rugged Ridge Manual Locking hubs for my 98 Ranger. I have been wondering if it would be alright to leave the hubs locked in all the time and just engage my 4x4 with my turnknob in the truck or if i should be unlocking them everytime I dont need them? Any advice on the best way to work these things would help. Thanks

You can leave them locked in all winter if the roads are typically icy/slushy the whole time where you are.

If you don't think you'll use your 4WD within the next couple days, then you might save ½-1 MPG or so by unlocking them.
