12 Ton Bottle Jack FTW!
Someone MAY have swapped out the jacks in your truck ( definitely plausible if it's the 94 )....I've seen it happen.
But either way, grab yourself a nice 12 ton bottle jack (They arent that much money) and save yourself the hassle from now on.
this has gotten me thinking... i have no idea the condition of my spare tire, nor di i even know where my jack is... lol
The bottle jack is tiny to begin with, so this is what I do & also use them to chock wheels-I always carry a few wood blocks to give a jack a good footing.
Consider yourself lucky that your vehicle even CAME WITH a jack and spare tire. My nephew just bought a brand-new car, and under the trunk floor where the spare and jack should be was a fitted plastic filler piece with a can of fix-a-flat and little 12Volt air compressor!
