I see a lot of people who don't know what to adjust the bands with, just solder 2 old sockets, 1 of 8 or 10 in 1/4 in a 13-14 sockets in 3/8 and you can put it on a 1/4 torque wrench, see pictures

another tip, if you have to change the crankcase gasket several times, buy the following gasket by Lube Locker, reusable without ever leaking, a little expensive but very efficient

it might be good to make a section just for tips
 
I bought a couple of 8 point sockets to adjust bands with.
 
Dunno what the lube locker gaskets cost, but Ford started using re-useable gaskets in the later year trucks so you can also just upgrade by buying the gasket from Ford. I think I've re-used my OEM pan gasket 6 times now and it still doesn't leak a single drop.
