so ive been trying to do this f150 coil spring lift on my ranger bought all the stuff spent hours looking for parts putting them on and my sway bar wont bolt up know do i really need it bolted up or can i leave it there undone?

you can leave it undone. but you will need longer links to bolt it back up and you can find them. just expect the truck to be floppy. not too bad just make sure you get an alignment

do they make links that cure its touching the spring right now and wont bolt up?

i did the f150 spring swap and dont have the sway bar and feel no need for it. it handles corners just fine yet i can still do 25 mph corners at 35 mph+ and dont notice much more body roll. as for aligment they put in a 3* shim in the passenger side and a 2* shim in the drivers side and i amsitting at 1 1/8* camber which is just fine. also you might want to drop your radius arms down 2 inchs if you can for better aliginability. and dont use hose clamps eather because the spring can "walk" around and and you wont get a constant camber reading. eather get a f150 spring holder or make one otta 1/8" steel. hope this helps out just trying to give you a heads up

thanks i did it yesterday, i wasnt able to bolt up my sway bar after the swap so i drove it around for a bit with it disconnected; it wasnt to bad when i got home i checked again and was able to bolt it back up althought the rubber mounts on either side only have about a half an inch of clearing from the spring. Idk if this will cause a problem, and i actually was able to get f150 perches and i used those so the spring isnt going any where although i think ill still install the retainers.
