Urethane body bushings?

"Polyurethane" is the full name for urethane (also sometimes just called "poly" bushings). The only other options are Rubber (what the factory used), and solid metal (I wouldn't use that on anything but a vehicle built for competition use).

Road imperfections will feel a bit more "coarse" with urethane, mostly because they provide less noise and vibration isolation than rubber. They shouldn't affect the overall ride too much though, that is more a function of how stiff your shocks & springs are.

I have a urethane bushing set on my Ranger.
