UrbanRedneckKid's Build Thread

Will his truck be at Smorr for July 16th weekend Ford Invasion??? Hope so..

Why did you switch from the stock coil bucket to the ballistic fab bucket? I'm gathering parts for the same swap and was planning on using the stock bucket, just want to make sure i wouldnt have any issue using it.

Also what pitman arm did you use and did you have to ream it out?

I read through 9 pages of this thread in a hour or so, so sorry if its already been addressed.

Great Build!!! keep us updated.

I hope so, it's bout done. Just need to weld the exhaust, And paint my shock hoop. Biggest hold up now is the driveshaft. But if it does go it'll be 2wd...

The springs didn't fit worth a sh-- in the oem buckets, wasn't really safe at all, plus I now have adjust ability in my ride height for different tires or spring wear.
And I did have to ream out the pitman arm, but it is the stock 4x4 pitman arm.

Yeah, but lemme see what this driveshaft is gunna cost first. Hit me up on my e-mail since I'm barely ever on here and it goes to my phone. Thommy05us@hotmail.com

Oh... wait till you see what I'm doin now... just waiting on a parts order from Ruffstuff...

No more wheel hop and spring wrap, and adjustable rear ride height/ spring rate and the ability to carry a lil more weight. Yet still have amazing articulation.

I had this issue where I put 2 35" tires in the bed and it squated just shy of 4". Yeah she's a lil soft in the back. But I'm gunna fix that...

The build comin along nicely haven't been payin as much attention as I wanted to I'll halve to go back and read up.

man your truck is awesome! i check your post manytimes and you have very nice skills.

i'm from quebec city in canada and the eb d44 swap is rare and find a eb diff is like find a niddle in a hayball but i finally find one after 1½ year of research and i will do the swap this winter.

i just have one question, when you bolt the radius arm bracket to the frame, from where did you take the measure to drill at the right place to get sure the diff fit in the fenders???

**email me if you dont understand my fabulous english:icon_confused:

Massive update coming soon...
I've been absent from TRS for some time now...

Long story short... Finished the truck... Almost, drove it for about 10 months, then did a front flip and a barrel roll at the same time...

Currently I have a 98 Supercab b3000, and an 88 f-150 for parts trucks. And am searching for a set of 1-ton axles and another regular cab, also got a good line on a set of 40" Iroks.

302 powered crew-cab w/6" bed in the works...

That's it for now..., if anyone is still following my build...
