the 2000 had been getting worse at draining the battery. at first it would take a week, after a few months it was down to less than a day.
different GEM did not fix it. pulling fuse 26 made it last a bit longer, sort of.
removed the aftermarket remote start that's been on it for 12+ years and now it starts just fine after sitting for several days.
the remote did work, but somehow it pulled some current.
maybe all the over-air networks were triggering it to tune in, it did not start randomly. maybe it just got power hungry.
