Hey guys. They are 2 flip style switches under my head light dimer. As far as I can tell they don't work, Im just wondering what they are for? Didn't find anything online. I proly wasnt using the right search terms but I don't even know what to call them

Probably aren't factory switches... picture would help.

Welcome to the forum

Assuming 1993 Ranger?

Are they factory switches?
They will have icons embedded, like this: https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/attachments/2012-05-19_02-43-20_349-jpg.267125/

That switch is for fog lights

If no icons then they were added by previous owner, custom switches

Some people added Fog lights, some extra Reverse lights, and some a manual switch for cargo light/bed light or inside canopy lights

DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SWITCHES WE HAVE INSTALLED IN YOUR VEHICLE

YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO KNOW THEIR FUNCTION

REPORT TO THE LUBYANKA AT 05:00 FOR RE-EDUCATION CONCERNING THE SWITCHES THAT ARE NOT LOCATED WITHIN YOUR VEHICLE AND THE FUNCTIONS THAT THEY DO NOT CONTROL

Товарищ, успокойтесь, мы не хотим, чтобы у людей возникали смелые идеи.
Let’s keep it civil guys.

My butt itches.

Only way I could get the photo. My tablet says can't preform action req memory too low. Anyway hope the link works
Can't see it but just above and below the toggle is on and off engraved on the metal

Those sure as hell didn't come from Ford. Only way to know what they might have been for is to trace the wires.

Yea they are aftermarket. Could be for anything.

Did you try turning them on?
Did anything come on when you turned them on?

UPDATE: followed the wires the green ones from switches is seen in picture connecting to different blocks with 4 prongs each. The other photo I don't know what that part is or why the red wire is cut....

The blocks with the green wires are relays. It looks like the rest of the parts for those circuits have been removed/abandoned.

The other device says it’s a pressure switch. Might have been for an air compressor at one time. Does it have any hose connected to it? If so, where does it go?
