ummm im lost. heat/fan

86 ranger 2.9 cant get the fan or heat to blow. the fuse keeps popping when i turn it on. checked for spliced wires also not aclue where the relay if that exsist in my truck is. please help.
 
It sounds like theres a wiring shorting out. If not, maybe it's something in the plugs? Might even be internal to the motor...
 
Try unplugging the wires going to the blower motor, then turn it on. If its a problem internal to the blower, or a short on the negative side, you shouldn't be blowing a fuse anymore.

If the fuse still blows with the wiring disconnected, then you've got a short somewhere before the blower motor.
