UH OH!!!! Please Help

so i bought a truck last night, so tonight i decided to take it for a test wheeling trip, all was going good until i tried to cross a creek and got her stuck, in the process of trying to get out the truck died. It wouldn't start back up, some quick diagnosing led me to realize the fuel pump wasn't running, i jumped the relay and the pump started but the truck wouldn't start. Now what, right now its 5 miles from home sitting in a field.
Any Suggestions Would Be Greatly Appreciated!!!!!

By the way, its an 86 Ranger 4X4 with a 2.9 Manual transfer case and transmission

BTW it shocked me when i had a plug wire un hooked in my hand and my brother cranked it over so it has some sort of spark and it had fuel pressure at the rail when the relay is jumped.

check the inertia switch. Also, did the relay get wet or anything? To make sure the relay is actually still good, check the voltage in vs the voltage out. It should be the same.

checked the inertia switch, someone cut it out and just hooked the wires together, also the relay may be bad but it doesnt run even with the relay jumped and the fuel pump working

i replaced the relay, the fuel pump doesnt kick on. What pin(s) should have power koeo and koer for the fuel pump relay?

I got it figured out, the battery must have bounced enough and pulled the little black battery wire apart. 5 minutes with a test light i found it, reconnected it and it fired right up.
