Ugly Truck of The Month Contest

It's my blue '84. Since I painted it 14 years ago, trees have fallen on it twice; two times it has hit a deer (well, one hit me, the blind bastard), and it hasn't been washed in at least 5 years. I'm also experimenting with growing edible and medicinal mold cultures on it. Other than that, it's beautiful.

I'm doing the same with my '83! It always has had some lichens growing on the topper, but since moving to FL the warm temps and humidity has enabled all sorts of other flora to thrive. Someday it will be a federally protected habitat.

I recently went on a work trip and was put up in a fancy hotel with valet parking. I really regretted not driving my Brown Bomber so they could line it up with the $100k+ cars in the valet ramp.

The calendar with Rusty on it was my favorite. Always caught people’s eyes when they walked into my office.

If we’re going to do a calendar we would have to have a good pic… the fast food pic is only to prove it’s still driven on the street.

For some of us that are retired and on a limited income, "fast food" has been replaced by dumpster diving.

It's OK; there's no shame in admitting it and saying it out loud.

And whenever you see an abandoned walker next to a dumpster, do the humane and responsible thing, and check to make sure that some old fart ain't stuck in the dumpster.

Ive done my fair share of dumpster diving. Got some great tools, a good flatscreen monitor, various other "stuff"...

The reason I said fast food restaurant with their product bag on the hood is to show that the photo is current and the truck drives. I doubt anyone already has a picture like this, and if your truck was broke down there it would have gotten towed.

I think seeing pics of a POS that's still being driven is more interesting than one that's been put out to pasture in a field.

But I'm open to whatever. Post your pics and we'll let the members decide who's POS they'd like to see on a calendar.
