Fixing faded fenders and bumper plastic and mirrors

Basically all the plastic is faded on my truck I tried using meguires back to black, trim restorer and it unfortunately did nothing so does anybody know of any other things that work at last a little bit atleast? Be nice if it would be permanent but I doubt that so I guess if I have too how hard is it to replace the fenders, this truck was from Texas but did live in Illinois for a bit and will continue too so I’m still kinda nervous to take those off and see what I find behind them

just have to bite the bullet and live with the patina or paint it.

I hate the stuff you wipe on. Don't use that. Meguires Back to Black Trim Restorer contains Dimethoxysilyl Ethylenediaminopropyl Dimethicone which is silicone. It's like spraying it with Armor All. You need to thoroughly clean that to get all of that silicone off of it. Don't use any harsh chemicals that might melt the plastic.

One you get it clean, mask it off and paint it with black Krylon fusion paint. Make sure it's 'Fusion'. Fushion is made to bond to plastic.

If you don't get all of the silicone off, the paint will peel off in those spots over time.

I bought a Ranger that had faded factory fender flares. I masked them off right on the truck and painted them and the plastic bumper cover with satin black Krylon fusion paint. Looked like a new truck when I was done.

in the jeep lands, they put peanut butter on their faded plastic (and they have lots of plastic).

my wife has slowly been buying things on ebay that are held on with double sided tape to cover all the faded plastic on her 2019 wrangler. her jeep is silver and the plastic is faded so bad, its almost the same color, but a white grey version.
