anyone else here ride bmx? or downhill mtb?

Ive been riding dirt, street and trails since I was 12(damn half my life). Currently got a Volume Destroyer with a bunch of heavy ass cromoly parts and a Standard Trails bike setup alot lighter.

Used to ride BMX and mountain bike. Both my wrists are messed up from landing too hard too many times. Then I got my driver's license and stopped hurting so much.

Why do you have it set up so heavy? I have had a few in my day and thought they were all pretty light. Then i got my DK Cincinnati, which was my first bike with a front brake, and it was like a freaking feather even with front brakes, and i have beat the tar out of it and never had a bent rim or blow out or anything. Love that bike, but havent been on it in years.

i used to ride, i had a hoffmen pro series bike. i had a Haro handle bars (i broke mine in half...),GT sprocket (bent it grinding) haro 3 pice crank,(i broke 3 hoffmen 1 pices),primo hula hoop rims, (tacoed both my hoffmen rims), blue primo tires,primo stiffy pegs,GT bear claw pedals, Senfas seat,(bent it when i bailed jumping off a roof). i miss that bike....i really miss rideing. i havent rode since i broke my collar bone trying to 360 a 12 stair.

broke my collarbone riding too. hung up the back wheel on some coping on a 6 foot quarterpipe at a indoor skatepark in Omaha and went over the bars. landed flatbottom on my shoulder.
Its heavy because I was a broke ass highschool kid that couldnt afford to continue replacing parts. Glad I have my standard now I can throw it around like nothing.

i dont ride BMX but i mountain bike, i have a gary fisher wahoo made into a street machine, an i was buildin up a sarcen x-ile dirt jumping mountain bike but got my liscense an havnt finished that bike, i still occasionaly ride my gary fisher, but nxt summer im hopeing to sell that an get a norco 125 mountain bike.

yeah I have a .243 I like to dirt jump and street ride and 4cross with it and I use to have a Haro X7 and almost everypart on it wasn't stock and it was a f...in awesome downhill and freeride bike!!!!

downhill is awesome in northern cali...no pics tho...sold them bout a year a go. expensive ass bikes, about as much as a lot of your rangers

i used to ride but havent had the urge any more.. ive got a TON i mean a TON of bmx parts.. from stems to bars to misc parts to headsets seats A TON shoot me a pm if any one is looking for parts.. i kinda want this stuff gone an would like to see it go to some one that can use it.
