it must be nice. people in america really need to get rid of their vaginas and learn to drive a stick again.

i agree.. b/c then we could get one of those...

sure does look weird tho, totally different than what i'm used to seeing...
i'm jealous.

those were sold by the Ford dealer. not imported from USA dealers. so i guess they were made just for latin america. the speedo reads in km/h and has just the basic stuff. even steel rims, but still has leather seats.

theres like 3 explorer sport tracs with manual 5spds around here too.

agreed! i have never owned an automatic (out of 7 vehicles), and i dont see one in my near future.+rep to you.

Only 7? Sheesh. Im up to 17, with 3 of them being autos... Including the most recent purchase, the 1989 Bronco II (girlfriend has to learn to drive, and shes not blowing my clutch to do it).

I totally agree that American's need to learn to drive, because for some reason up here in Canada we end up with the exact same automatic-dominated lineup, instead of the more reasonable international market... Makes me wanna smack someone.

Am I missing something here? My explorer is manual, 4 x 4, and the speedo reads in kilometers. Or does it explain why, when I was looking for a starter the scrapyard guy just said "never seen one"

I don't need a stick anymore. Auto is the only way to go. I can play faster and better when I wheel over sand, dirt, hills and rocks!!! I had hitting stop and go traffic at times and having to shift in and out of gears all the time. I will never need a stick ever again.

It just shows you that no mater what you might want to order and if the manufacture can give it to you and you don't mind waiting...you can get it.

The are kind of fun to play with, but for a dd I will probably never get a stick again.

They only made them for '02, and I think they were available in the US. Not many of them floating around though.
