u bolts

Het guys I put a 8.8 from and explorer in my ranger. I bought some u bolt plates from turd stuff too. I'm using the factory block on the springs but I'm having trouble finding u bolt that are 3.25 to fit the rear and taller than 10 1/2 I need like a 12 inch tall or so. The biggest ruffstuff had was 10 1/2 and body know of any places that has em thanks

Call ruffstuff they can make longer ones.

Can you find a spring shop locally? When I needed longer ones, our parts guy called our local shop and they bent some up for me. They can make them any size bend and length you need.

whan i called ruffstuff they said they can get them but it will be real pricey cause they get them from someone else and the local spring ship would be like 100 and change to make them i was just seein if anyone knew of a fab shop that had them made already that would be cheaper.

My local Napa had a place that made mine... was like $40

I used U bolts from a stock 96 f150 4x4

I make custom ones every day for people at the shop I work at. When I did my swap, I bumped the u-bolt size up to 5/8".

Threaded rod, a hitch and a torch. heat and bend.
