Twin turbo blow thru 5.0

So far aside from buying parts the work I've done consists of:
Relocating the gas tank...
http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137888

And a new fuel system setup:
Walbro GSL392, all new hoses, filters and an fittings, a Aeromotive 13301 fuel regulator, and a Holley 600 double pumper to put it all to use. (When the time comes the 600 will be built by The Carb Shop)
...and Ill post pics of the fuel setup when the rest of the an fittings come this week.

A scavenge pump solves this issue, however it can be reliability problem. IMO, independent oil systems create even more headaches.

I agree and other than space considerations or sleeper factor I see almost no reason to remote mount a turbo or set of turbos. I don't see space as a factor though it may require some creative plumbing.

You can do an intercooler like this Though a more expensive route than to go twin intercoolers and a ypipe after the intercoolers. Half the fun for me in turboing cars is figuring out the plumbing. Thankfully you can buy pre-cut and bent tubing to make almost any version of the flying spaghetti monster. Take pics and post.

Sleeper and keeping my engine bay a spacious as possible are the two main reasons. Learning experience, creativity, something different, etc... also. Def will be taking plenty of pictures.

Here's the finished fuel system. And the eBay holley ill modify for blow thru.

Im going to need more than 6 quarts of oil. for 1 to feed the turbos, and 2 because Im going to be draining the pan I have a feeling. Has anyone ever stuck a reservoir into there remote oil filter system?

Before I install the turbos I'm going to need to upgrade my drivetrain, neither motor or trans are up to the challenge. Getting a roller 351W and a 4r70w with a mvb.

The 4R is ready and waiting...

Not sure what to do about hooking up the speedometer, if anyone has a suggestion?
Decided to hold off on the 351W for the time being, and gonna run the stock 302 with a set of Holley systemax heads w RR's, B-cam and an Edelbrock air gap intake. Will see what it's capable off once its tuned and go from there.

I also want to try out a different motor mount setup. Has anyone ever tried the explorer mount plates with a pair of 4cyl mounts?

Pretty much the same as the plates guys make, so should work. I think?

Used a set of leaf spring shackles cut in half with a couple pieces of angle iron and got my motor bolted back into place.

Search hangar 18 for a blow thru guide that will get you started, and check my turbo 351 ranger out on youtube under spoolinranger. Goodluck

Are those chinese ebay turbos? I've heard that they have balance issues, might be worth the $$ to have them checked & balanced by a turbo shop.

Yea, I talked to you before through email, I love your truck! Haha, sick nasty! I have a 351 I'm rebuilding right now so it's ready if this 302 bites the dust

They are eBay turbos, but I'm not to worried. They're just a means to a means. I'll get good shit as soon as I have the money
