1992 ford explorer, turn signals and reverse lights dont work.bought new flasher, still dont work, bulbs are good, emergency flashers work, but if you mess with the turn signal switch, the pass side light will quit flasing, but the fronts are flashing,

any ideas?

id say its in the switch or it may be a bad ground...... good luck:icon_thumby:

Blinkers

You know what I did was change the wrong flasher, the blinker flasher is on top of the fuse panel the emergency flasher is on the bottom, the one you can see my old trick is to feel it with the flasher on to tell witch one but there too close together to tell that way.

i changed the round one , blue in color, plastic case, says its flasher. thats all i changed, all fuses are good, but what are those silver things rectangle shaped fuses? has no diagram on the fuse panel, got no manual for this car.
sold my s10, my ranger 4x4 project is at a hault, so this is my new ride / toy.
if i didnt need to go to work, id just tear the 4.0 from this and transplant it in to my ranger !! but i need a ride, soooo this one gotta stay intact for a while

Does the 3rd brake light work? If so it could just be a bulbs at the tail lights. Get a light tester one should light the bulb all the time while the other should light only when the button is pushed. If it does not work this way your switch is bad.
