Turkey Bay Dec. 13th

If i rode in my own jeep i would be havin a ton of more fun and being able to show yall up! lol I know im going on a ride to wishbone ranch New Years in Bowling Green KY with my club! Ive never been there but its suppose to be a really good ride from what ive heard. Turkey Bay is one of my favorite rides just wish we didnt have to ride on the yellow trails all day sunday but i guess that will have to be another day when Rick has 4wd...lol and Frank u can do it all by urself if not u need to stay off the trails so ya dont get any body damage! lol...the four door f250 will prob have some problems getting through some of the trails especially if we get off the yellow trails

Looks like you guys had a blast!
I gotta get of my butt and put some mufflers on my truck so I can join ya,at least till the 28 up front explodes........lol.

Are the trails to tight for a 4 door F250?Maybe I can talk my son into going and taking his truck.

i believe you have to have mufflers per the rules....not sure if they really enforce it, but prolly would if someone was actin' stupid around the entrance/camping areas...

as for the F250...most of the Yellow trails...but there are a few tight spots on some....and B2, if ya remember the full-size Dodge we let past...

ill be there next time come hell of high water! :icon_hornsup:

hey Jim, how far from Oneida, TN is the place you like to go wheelin?

my in-laws and g-parents live just north of Oneida in KY, but most wheelin' places there have been closed off ( in Daniel Boone Nat. Forest, or Big South Fork Nat. River & Rec. Area )....

and B2, i don't know how to multi-quote either....

railman - its called royal blue. its about 15 minutes south of the ky tn border on I75. its right up by Oneida. everything from rock crawling to mud boggin. good times for sure!

do they live up near williamsburg, corbin, london area?

cool...will have to check that out..:icon_thumby:

if you were to take US 27 straight up from Oneida, you would go right through it...Whitley City/Stearns, KY....due west of Corbin/Williamsburg...

Ok, me and rick have decided to build a sick mutant sas'd beast...... so I have a dedicated trail rig.

351, hoodstacks (but if you have to have a muffler hoodstacks wouldn't be legal)
big tires, lots of body damage potential.

yeah, i would say the hoodstacks would be a no-no at TB....just run stacks behind the cab....say some 8" angle cuts...:D

then what ya gonna use for a tow rig....:icon_confused:

He'll probably use that nice shiny truck I just got finished putting two sets of gears in to pull it with....
SVT

either his white reg cab 97 ranger or a B2...
SVT

I'm torn between a short bed reg cab ranger, or a B2..........

I just posted my drag car, my 88 ranger, my 89 d-50, my 8.8, and d-35 4.10 gears, a spare set of slicks and a set of Keith Black pistons on craigslist and here........ lets see what I get out of it.

Frank

my mom wants me to build her a rail out her VW........ yeah that will be taking a backburner.
