Not good.....

Me & a friend have been cutting trails on his land, I went today in the rain & cold to meet up & cut some more............WELL, there is a tight left turn between 2 trees, I cut too far to the right to try not to have to back up & then I hear a WOOSH sound.......

I had caught the edge of a fallen tree as I turned left, it was sharp & apparently unbreakable.........we all know what this means, right? A big gash in the sidewall of my front right tire. Not to mention I had to use my buddies spare off of his Cherokee to get me back to his house so I could get the correct tool to get my spare off the carrier..... End result...I had to change my tire twice, it was pouring rain & about 45 degrees..

No way in hell I can get friggin tires so I guess I'm down for a while. Guess I won't be making the trip to T.B. after all.

I know they are bad cell pics, the 1st is the gash in the sidewall, the 2nd is my buddies Cherokee spare on the B2...

Rick's got a tire hammer, I got a hi-lift that breaks beads pretty good & some spoons, a scuffer, glue, some big patches, and multiple heat sources! Pick up a tube, run that spare up here for TB trip and we'll fix 'er up!

Pending Tim (2nd time around driveline) getting my trashed driveshaft rebuilt, I'll be at TB!!! Running a different 8.8 rear w/3.73 and lockers front and rear! We don't want to rush the DANA44 install and do something wrong! This SAS has been waiting too long!

I agree. Throw a patch in there and a tube. And then be careful. What size tires are you running? 31s? I have a few 32s sitting here I am not using. Not much tread left. Also have a set of 30s with good tread, but I had a buyer lined up for them. I'll see if he is still interested if you might be?

Got an appt with Tim on Monday morning for repairing driveshaft or getting a new one with 1350 u joints!

Tried to call his home phone yesterday after railman called me, I had to leave a msg with someone but he never called me back, then dizzle was going to give him my # today.....I can't get in touch with him....

We got ya covered!! Bring that rim or b lown out side wall. We'll fix it and have another tire with us for ya on standby! I'll call him tomorrow to call ya! His internet is down due to a storm. Probably barely up by TB weekend if then! I'll see him again Tuesday (my truck's at his house) and make sure we got a tire for ya. We can mount at TB, there's an air compressor there. We talked about it today and he said "we could take care of ya". SHOW UP, we got ya!!!
